This means that you can safely invite us onto your property if you run a school, nursery, care home, community farm or other service at which we might meet children, vulnerable adults or elders.

We would never normally speak with your clients, but have chosen to be DBS checked for your peace of mind.

Animal safety

One of our guiding principles is to not let the creatures suffer, either those that we are removing, or those who live around the area. The best way to get rid of many pest problems is to kill the pest, and where that is necessary, we will do so as humanely as possible, using instant-kill traps or poisons.

Where a prey-animal has been poisoned, for example a rat or a mouse, the residual poison in their system would have almost no effect on a predator animal who ate it, (e.g. cat, dog, fox, owl), due to the size of the prey vs the size of the predator.

We operate to the ‘Think Wildlife’ guidelines for safe use of rodenticides

Lantra

Chris of Perish-A-Pest has undertaken the Level 2 course to allow him to safely use Aluminium Phosphide, which is a controlled substance, only for serious infestations of vertebrates.
