Bees, Wasps & Hornets
Most people dislike buzzy yellow-and-black stripy insects, but bees, wasps and hornets are very different from each other, and have to be handled differently.
Wasps and hornets can pose a danger to humans, so Perish-A-Pest offers a wasp removal service that destroys them, and their nests.
Bees are docile, and an essential part of the food chain, pollinating the plants and flowers. Several of the UK’s species of bee are endangered, and we will work hard to rehome bees which are building an inappropriately placed hive. We have a good working relationship with local beekeepers, and will do our best to avoid killing bees. Please be patient with us, as this can take longer than simply destroying them.

We are one of few mole-removal services in Cornwall, helping get the adorable-looking little burrowers out of your prized lawns and flower beds. Moles create burrows through the soil, killing plants, and creating their characteristic molehills wherever they go, and can make a real mess!
We use traditional trapping methods to capture the moles from your garden, which work instantly, and painlessly, and are not dangerous to other animals.

COVID-19 has taught us to be a lot more careful about bugs and things you can’t see, as much as things that you can see.
Perish-A-Pest offers fogging treatments that will remove viruses and bacteria from entire rooms, including hard surfaces, carpets, curtains, furniture and soft furnishings. It is also very effective for offices, toilets and washrooms.
We use a bleach-free, non-hazardous and non-toxic virucidal cleaner that meets BS EN 14476 and BS EN 13675, so you can be sure that only the germs will be harmed.

Aluminium Phosphide
We are one of few pest control companies in Cornwall qualified to use Aluminium Phosphide.
This is a highly toxic poison that is only used for extreme infestations of vertebrates such as rats, moles or rabbits.
It is a controlled substance and requires an exclusion zone, and full protective clothing. We will discuss the details with you, if we feel this is the best solution for your pest problem.
